On April 3, 2021, Henan Kaifeng Emergency Management Bureau issued the emergency notice on drawing lessons from poisoning accidents in "3.31" of Jiyuan demonstration zone to do a good job in safety management of hazardous chemicals enterprises.        On March 31, Henan Yurui Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. in Huling industrial cluster area of Jiyuan demonstration zone, Henan Province, occurred a hydrogen chloride and chlorine gas poisoning accident during the process of production and transformation. Two people were killed and 11 were injured.        At present, all the injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment, two critically ill patients are stable, and the other 9 people are not in danger of life. They have been transferred to the general ward for observation and treatment.
       Hydrogen chloride and chlorine gas leakage of Henan Yurui Chemical Technology Co., Ltd
       On March 31, 2021, Henan Yurui Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. burst at the connection between the chlorinated paraffin reactor and condenser during the production and transformation process. The hydrogen chloride and chlorine gas leaked, which has caused 2 people to be poisoned and 11 injured (3 serious). Through preliminary investigation and analysis, the direct cause of the accident is that the enterprise did not effectively dispose the hazardous chemicals left in the device after the shutdown, the emergency personnel protection articles were not properly worn after the gas leakage, and the irrelevant personnel were not evacuated in time, which led to the expansion of the accident consequence.
